About 1ssumm

1. to express a need to share

2. to inquire what someone wants

Jenny "Do you want some?”

I can’t remember when I started asking people this question, but I know at some point, it became a huge part of my life. Whether it was places, memories, or things, I’ve always loved sharing them with the people around me.

As I got older, I began loving fashion, and I fell in love with shopping. Over the years, this became an obsession and my love for sharing and my passion for accessories collided as I began sharing everything I found that I loved with my friends. Then, in 2016, I decided that this is what I really wanted to do with my life.

Shelly "I want some!"

I’ve always loved creating. It was always my passion and always my end goal. Like most artists out of art school, I started working on a bunch of projects that were all over the place. I might be sketching concepts one day then be creating assets for games the next. While I loved what I did, I started to feel like I was creating for others and not for myself.

That was when I met Jenny. She was doing popups, selling online, working for herself, and I found myself rooting for her. Over the next two years, we became closer and I got to help her out on a few occasions. Then, in 2018, she asked me to join her team and help her create something that would be “ours”.

So now we’re learning and doing this thing together. We’re still young and naive enough to think that we can share the things we love with you without leaving you broke. We’re still young and naive enough to believe that quality doesn’t have to mean “expensive”. Thankfully, if the past three years showed us anything it's that, people are starting to believe in us and we’re seeing our little movement grow every day!

So, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you for coming by our booths to say “hi” to us! Thank you for the sending us pictures to share with our followers! Thank you for all the shoutouts! Thank you for your support! And as always, “Do you 1ssumm?”
